Grade 1 kids have big hearts and they like to make drawings and cards. A late Valentine’s day post in April.
Art class had a blast collaborating with the Social Science Class on a special project titled “Cars”. The students painted and designed their boxes to sleep in during break time.
Here are the Early Years kids in action before learning how to drive their cars.
Last February 17, 2017, the CISM IB Visual Arts students joined the crowds of art enthusiasts at the Art Fair Philippines 2017 located this year at the 5F / 6F / 7F / Roofdeck The LINK Carpark Ayala Center, Makati City.
Founded in 2013, Art Fair Philippines is the premier platform for exhibiting and selling the best in modern and contemporary Philippine visual art. The fair aims to mirror the vibrant local art scene and continue to generate support for Filipino art practitioners. Set in an alternative urban venue, Art Fair Philippines makes art accessible to enthusiasts and to those who want to discover one of Southeast Asia’s most exciting art landscapes..
Here the IB Grade 11 students were able to see and appreciate firsthand contemporary works and meet and talk with fellow art enthusiasts, artists, curators, gallery owners and fellow students taking up similar art programs. Hopefully this experience at the art fair will open up for the Grade 11 students newer perspectives for their own studies, goals and to continue their own artmaking processes.
