This week, our school will be celebrating the most important event of the year: Chinese New Year! 2013 is the Year of the Snake, and it falls on Sunday, February 10th, this year. These Thursday and Friday, the school will have two presentations: the first, for Upper School parents on Thursday; the second, for Lower School parents on Friday. Friday will also be the day of the annual Lion Dance, a propitious way to greet the New Year on our campus by warding off evil spirits and welcoming good vibrations for the rest of the year; PTA parents will be on campus for treats for our students. It will be early release schedule to enable students to enjoy the start of a three-day weekend.
