“To learn to read is to light a fire;
every syllable that is spelled out is a spark.”
– Victor Hugo
We are ecstatic to see the kids back to reading in the library this school year.
Once again, their voices fill our circulation desk wanting to borrow their favorite books. Lower School students wait eagerly for the storytelling time and quickly scatter the moment it ends to hurry and get their take home book for the week.
Middle School students take their time in choosing books, browsing magazines or just chilling in the library. High Schoolers keep their cool as they research online while the IB students get serious on their IB readings and assignments.
Whichever grade level they are in, we hope they will get the most of their time. We are excited for them as they discover new territories and create new content.
Here’s to wishing them a wonderful reading journey this 2018-2019!
