Grade 4&5 Foundation  Chinese – Mr. Arenas

Week 14: November 9-13, 2015

Hi! This week, the 4th and 5th graders of Chinese foundation class learned new vocabulary words about telephone numbers and addresses. It is so fun since they got to learn how to say numbers in Chinese. They we’re also thrilled when they found out that the Chinese names of the city where they are living sounds like its English name. Learning about the topic: addresses or residence, students need to learn how to say and Write Chinese words of their present city. Every day in this week, the teacher asked them question “你住在哪儿?” or in English “Where do you live”. Students must answer “我住在…..市” or “I live in …City”.  This way, students will be able to learn how to say his/her current city using Mandarin.
