Nursery August 22-26, 2016

Hi-5 Nursery students! This week Nursery class learned new Chinese song 《我的朋友在哪里》(Where is my friend?). Students had a lot of fun singing the song and doing its actions. They also recited the word 朋友(pengyou) and even counted their 朋友’s/friends in the classroom. Students in nursery class are beginning to learn basic greeting words and polite expressions such as 你好、再见、谢谢、不客气. These words are used and applied in the classroom to get the students more familiar with these words. Students are also given different task to reinforce their character recognition skills which is very essential to their reading ability. The class has also started learning Chinese numbers.
