Learning to recognize Chinese character strokes!

 

 

Nursery Chinese – Mr. Arenas

 

Hi! Students in Nursery class begin to recognize Chinese character strokes. Activities that are done in class to reinforce it are through writing basic strokes in small whiteboard and using blocks to form the same stroke. Students are also learning about family. They also learned simple sentences to say “I love Mama and Papa”. A new song called “Three bears/ 三只熊” is also introduced this week。

Kindergarten Class! (Polite expressions, Personal Introduction and Family)

 

 

Kindergarten Chinese – Mr. Arenas

 

This Kindergarten class learned about polite expressions, personal introduction and family. Students are learning to recognize Chinese characters and use these words in their daily speaking practice activity. Students conduct simple role playing in the classroom using the words they learned. Students in Kinder class begin to trace their Chinese names in Chinese class as part of their daily class routine.
