Dear Grade 3 parents and students,

These days, we learned about time, reviewed occupation and self-introduction . We made a clock together and let students move the hand of the clock after hearning the time. Make a conversation asking about time and answer it.

Dear grade 6/7/8 parents and students, These days, we learned about appearances and occupations. We assumed our students work in UN. They need assign special days for certain jobs and explain why in Chinese. Some of our students choose police, military person, doctor and fireman, others choose janitor and car racer. Here is our students’ work, awesome.

Grade 6/7/8 Mandarin Chinese

Dear Grade 6/7/8 parents and students,

In the last month, we prepare for the HSK test. We did mock test about HSK. After the HSK test, we learn a new unit-Appearance. Students learn vocabulary and sentence pattern about describing person. Students draw several funny persons, exchange and then describe the person.

尊敬的六七八年级的家长们大家好,

上个月,我们为HSK做准备,做了模拟测验。HSK结束之后,我们学了一个新的单元,外貌。学生们学习了如何描述人的词汇以及句子结构。学生们画了自己觉得有意思的人物,交换并描述。

New Year Performance

Dear Grade 3 parents and students,

Grade 3 students did very good during the Chinese New Year Performance.

They can sing two new songs now. One is <New Year Cha-Cha>, another one is <Yuan Ri>. Here are the  links of videos

Singing Chinese poem

Dear Grade 3 Parents and Students,

Recently, we learned a traditional Chinese poem  鹅鹅鹅,which means “Goose Goose Goose”.

We learned the pronunciation of the poet first and then read it one by one. Later, using picture and body language to let students understand the meaning of the poem.

We also learn how to sing the song.

“Ba” Sentence

“Ba” Sentence

“Ba” Sentence is very frequently used in daily Chinese. These days, we learned ASKING THE WAY and NEIGHBORS.

We draw a house on the whiteboard, and cut the pictures with furnitures on them. Imagining ourselves as the owner of the house, one student directs the position of  different furnitures using “Ba” sentence,another student sticks the furniture in the right place.

把字句

把字句在日常汉语中很常用。近日来,我们学习问路以及邻居。

我们在白板上画好房子,剪了带着家具的图片。 想象自己是房屋的主人,一个人用把字句指引家具的摆放,另一个人帖家具。
