Happy Easter Everybody! Today was filled with loads of fun as we engaged in numerous activities related to this special day. However, we are a bit sad as we will not be able to see our teachers and friends for a week due to the school break! Today was not just about all fun and games. We got to learn about the story of the Easter Bunny and as well as the meaning of Easter for Catholics as some of our friends were able to share with us what they know about this day. We were all enlightened to find out how different cultures celebrate holidays.
Our day started with an Easter egg hunt! We were all very assertive and eager to find the eggs that the Easter Bunny left for us.
The Easter Bunny was quite wise as we were not able to find the eggs right away!
We celebrated together by opening our eggs all at the same time! Can you guess what we got?
We then made our own chocolate bowls made of balloons to celebrate Easter and as well as for doing a good job at our assembly yesterday.
This was quite tricky as our initial trial caused our balloons to pop. We were able to succeed eventually with the use of a bigger and thicker balloon.
We all took turns as we coated the balloon (which we washed first), poured colourful sprinkles on it, then left it in the freezer to chill.
The funnest part was watching our teacher pop the balloon! We all freaked out with the sound! We all enjoyed the icecream as well!!! Sugar Rush!
We also made bunny ears so we can all look like the Easter Bunny! Oh what a fun day! See you all on April 2nd!
