These challenging times have affected all of us, but our Pre-Kindergarten class proved that COVID won’t stop us from learning. Our class has been going the distance in our education. Nevertheless, we were able to adapt and find ways we can learn and interact with our teachers and friends effectively even if it’s virtually. We have been working hard not only with our teachers and peers but as well as our parents and guardians who continue to guide and support us in our learning.
One of our favourite topics was subtraction. We enjoyed eating our yummy snacks, but we were also able to learn about taking away. Learning Subtraction was so fun!
We did not forget about our English Language Arts, of course. We are so proud of ourselves for being able to master matching letters to letter sounds, read words, and even sentences! Can you read with us?
We also did a lot of experiments in class! Our families were so helpful in gathering materials we needed. We learned that conducting science experiments needed patience and care. We sometimes made mistakes, but that’s all part of the learning process. Mistakes are okay and it helps us learn even more!
We also had a chance to become little chefs. Who knew cooking could be so much fun and easy? Our favourite was making chocolate mug cakes! Do you want the recipe?
Our school year is about to end, but we can’t wait to see what’s in store for us next school year! See you then!
