Education isn’t all about knowledge and information. It is beyond knowing the facts. What is more important is going beyond the lesson presented, finding a connection and the relevance of what is learned in the classroom to our day-to-day lives.
A timely discussion on Earth Day had arise as we were discussing about Inventions and Technology in Science. We talked about our collective responsibility to our community and our home planet as we think of inventions as solutions to problems we have presently. And as a way to promote awareness of these problems, the children have come up with poster delivering a message to everyone.
