October has always been one of the busiest month of the school year!
We kicked the month off by celebrating Spirit Week. We dressed up for Meme Monday, Tropical Tuesday, Wake Up Wednesday and Class Theme Thursday. Our class theme was Flintstones.
We were able to get to know different countries through awesome Cultural Workshops by the MS/HS students.
Our last event for the month is the most awaited Halloween celebration. We had a lot of fun going through different stations. We made our Trick or Treat bags, we made masks and we made Halloween snacks! It was capped off by the Trick or Treat activity. We got a little bit scared at first, but we had a great time!
Aside from the celebrations, we learned a lot in our classes.
We also practiced planning and writing our own stories!
We talked about how our families are special in Social Studies.
In Science, we observed change when we made slime.
October was truly an amazing month. We can’t wait to learn more and to have more fun in the future. Looking forward to the next month!
